In order to avoid processing complaints submitted by “non-human” entities and to ensure that individuals have access to the People’s Advocate Institution, please provide, as required by law, at least the following information:
– the name and address of the individual whose rights and freedoms have been infringed;
– the administrative authority concerned and a brief description of the issue;
– evidence supporting the claims made (for example, the registration number of the request submitted to the public authority or the unfavourable response issued by it);
– whether the request concerns a case pending before a court or has previously been the subject of court proceedings;
The authorised representative is required to provide the identification details of the person represented (for example, where a son/daughter submits the documents on behalf of a parent).
For more information, you may consult the “HOW TO MAKE A COMPLAINT” section.
